The short version of how this site works, and who owns what's on it.

What this site is

This is my personal website. I'm Luke McCrea, a mortgage loan originator with West Capital Lending, Inc. The pages here explain the loan programs I work with, the areas I'm licensed in, and how to reach me.

Nothing on this site is a loan application, a loan offer, a rate quote, or a commitment to lend. When you're ready to apply or get pre-approved, you're sent to a separate application portal, and any loan is subject to credit approval, income and asset verification, and property appraisal.

The information here is general

I write these pages to be genuinely useful, but they're general education — not financial, tax, or legal advice, and not advice about your particular situation. Your situation deserves an actual conversation, so please talk to me before you make a decision based on something you read here.

The calculators estimate. They do the math on the numbers you type in, and real payments depend on things a calculator can't know — your credit, the property, taxes, insurance, HOA dues, and the pricing available on the day you lock. Treat the results as a starting point, not a quote.

Rates, programs, guidelines, and terms change, sometimes daily, and can change without notice. I keep this site current as best I can, but I can't promise every figure on it is accurate at the moment you read it.

Links to other sites

This site links out to services operated by other companies — the mortgage application portal, the home equity application platforms, my scheduling page, and my client review profile. Those are their sites, with their own terms and privacy practices, and this page doesn't govern them.

Using this site

You're welcome to read this site, print pages for your own use, and share links to it. That's what it's for.

Please don't use it in a way that breaks the law, interferes with how it runs for other people, or attempts to gain access to anything that isn't published here.

I wrote the words on this site and I own them. The copy, the explanations, the calculator content, the page structure, and the design of McCrea Lending are my original work and are protected by copyright.

They may not be copied, republished, adapted, or reused — in whole or in part, in any medium, by a person or by an automated tool — without my written permission. Reading the site, printing a page for yourself, and linking to it are all fine. Lifting the content for another website is not, and that includes rewriting it lightly or having software rewrite it.

The McCrea Lending name and any marks used on this site belong to me and may not be used without permission. My license numbers (NMLS #2588056, CA DRE #02155418) and West Capital Lending, Inc.'s (NMLS ID #1566096, CA DRE #02022356) identify us specifically and may not appear in anyone else's advertising.

If you'd like to quote or reference something here, ask me — the answer is usually yes.
